Dawn is a former employee of the US Bureau of Prisons and is the wife of a retired Federal Agent. By all accounts, they had the best life with the best opportunities that any family could ask for in this life. The ugly truth about the Opioid Epidemic is that it doesn't care if you are rich or poor or if you have loving parents or not. Sadly, Dawn and her husband, Jim, lost their oldest daughter, Gabrielle to an opioid overdose. Today, Dawn and Jim are advocates for ending the opioid crisis so that no other family has to endure the heartache and sadness that they went through with their beautiful daughter.
